In the co-op run, we use many tricks, glitches and exploits to try to combat the insane amounts of RNG. Left 4 Dead 2 is famous for its random elements. Glan and I would be racing the Any% Glitchless category, which explores nearly the entirety of the game in a /mostly/ intended manner, but also features some neat techniques and skips, and requires a lot of discipline and deep understanding of the game's many nuances. The Switch installment of Link's Awakening is an awesome remake of a timeless classic with endless charm to spare of its own. The Glitchless category aims to complete the game without any major exploits, making for a longer and very technical speedrun, where every detail counts, which even still includes a handful of interesting skips. This game also offers a wealth of interesting movement and combat mechanics.

The classic and beloved Zelda title from the Gameboy has been brought to a full and immersive 3D world in this charming remake. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (2019) (Submitting as a backup runner if needed.) These levels will be made specifically for AGDQ and will show off the creativity and skill (and glitches.) of the Mario Maker community! Estimate is flexible as we can add or subtract levels as needed. Super Mario Maker relay races never fail to bring the hype! We have assembled an awesome team of racers (3v3) and level makers to put on a fantastic show as they speed through a brand new set of levels featuring SMB1, SMB3, SMW, NSMB, and 3D World. Featuring custom music, art, and hot mario action, our relay racers (3v3) will attempt to speedrun through this set of never before seen levels, made specifically for SGDQ. Hard Mario? HECK YEAH! Because our last event at SGDQ was such a success, the Kaizo SMW community has once again put together a fantastic group of level designers (and assembly programmers.) to create fun and flashy SMW levels that you definitely won't remember from your childhood. Since the last time the game has been run at GDQ, this game has seen so much awesome improvements and now the competition is as tight as ever before! This will be a 120 star race of Super Mario 64 between Cheese and Simply.
